Aldactone is indicated in management of essential hypertension:
congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis accompanied by edema and or ascites, nephrotic syndrome, and other edematous condition,
diuretic induced hypokalemia/ hypomagnesemia as adjunctive therapy,
establishing a diagnosis of primary hyperaldosteronism,
short term preoperative treatment of patients with primary hyperaldosteronism.
